Thorpe Logistics commenced operations in 1968 supplying transport services to the construction industry in Tasmania and by the early seventies had expanded its operations to include interstate freight forwarding across Bass Strait.

With the move into freight forwarding our company went through a significant and rapid period of growth opening warehouses in Melbourne, Devonport, Launceston and Hobart.
